Experience: Extensive experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in in-patient and out-patient psychiatric settings. Holds workshops and lectures on topics of grief, depression, and eating disorders.

Practice: In my practice I see children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I see children battling with depression, anxiety, impulsivity, grief, social concerns, and adjustment difficulties. I see adolescents struggling with identity, adjustment issues, depression, anger, oppositional behavior, low self-esteem, anxiety, family conflict, grief, eating disorders, and self mutilation (cutting). I see parents overwhelmed, frustrated, and sad regarding their family conflict. I see Adults with depression, anxiety, anger, grief, disappointment, overwhelment, frustration, low self-esteem, stresses, co-dependent, and lacking support.

Approach: I am empathic and a problem solver. Clients often enter therapy feeling overwhelmed, without support, misunderstood, and sometimes unloved. The first step is to understand the client’s problems and feelings. The second step is to help the client resolve unwanted feelings and problems. Clients will learn to resolve problems with better ease. The process of healing does not have to be so painful but it does need to be productive. We will maximize your time in therapy to your benefit. The client will learn to understand himself/herself better. The client will also learn how to communicate more effectively and achieve desired goals.

Personal Philosophy: The human spirit is most powerful when it engages in sincerity and kindness. I believe in the power of laughter. I will help you identify your strengths, assess your problems, and create a plan of action. Through my techniques you will view your once complicated problems as manageable and resolvable. Most individuals I see have been thrown off guard by the complexity of life, and simply wish to uncomplicate matters. This can be accomplished. In the process of working with me you will find healing to be freeing.
